Death No Longer Holds Us

Jesus rejoiced as Peter confessed that He is the Christ, the Son of the living God. And said, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven.”  Faith which recognizes that Jesus is our Savior, the Son of the living God, is a gift from God Himself.  And now He went on to tell them something extraordinary – and truly reassuring.  Death doesn’t have any hold on those who confess Jesus Christ.
